Rebuilding the
music schools in Valencia
Spirit of the project:
This project, “Song for Valencia” arises as a solidarity initiative of the company NEOmúsica and the support of the Social Musik Foundation, to raise funds that will go entirely to the reconstruction of music schools and conservatories affected by the recent floods in Valencia (Spain), causing the largest disaster caused by a natural phenomenon in the recent history of the country, with more than 200 people dead and many others missing, so far. More than 3,500 musicians, 4,000 students and 320 teachers have been affected, losing schools, rehearsal rooms, instruments, homes and, in some cases, even family members.
Now, more than ever, we are committed to music, to musicians and to Valencia!
This initiative is aimed at any musician or musical group, regardless of their performance level, can download the Song for Valencia scores, record and share the video on their social networks. Both professionals and amateurs can participate, here the important thing is to participate and to reach as many musicians as possible around the world to achieve the challenge. We explain how to do it below!
